To explore the degree and path of influence of Playback Theater participation on interpersonal
trust, psychological boundary and empathy ability of college students. Three standardized psychological
test scales were selected for pre-post-test and data analysis. The research results showed that the
experience of participating in playback theater as a protective factor can maintain the interpersonal trust
level of college students. In the process of playback theater training, the stronger the cognitive empathy of
vocational college students, the clearer the psychological boundary, but the ability of emotional empathy
can not be significantly improved in a short time. Therefore, in the training, we should strengthen the
cultivation of emotional empathy ability of vocational college students who participate in playback theater
performance, soften their psychological boundary, so as to enhance their interpersonal trust in storytellers
and audience.
