be applied to other cultures. Filial piety, with the Confucian culture as its core, is an important foundation
in East Asian culture. It is not only a moral norm, but also a cohesive relationship between parents and
children. Filial piety can not only affect individual psychology and behavior, but also alleviate the problem
of elderly public care to a certain extent in the context of global aging. This article not only discusses
the importance of filial piety, but also discusses the cross-cultural universality of filial piety. I hope that
on the basis of studying filial piety, we can provide people with different cultural backgrounds with the
convenience of filial piety and solve practical problems.
