This paper explores the emotional expression conflict and subjective well-being of freshmen.
Based on a questionnaire survey of 201 freshmen in Guangdong Peizheng College, the findings are as
follows: (1) Freshmen’s level of emotional expression conflict is above average, the level of emotional
expression conflict of freshmen in rural areas was higher than that of freshmen in urban areas, but there
were no significant differences in major, gender and Singleton; (2) The level of swb of freshmen is higher
than that of middle level, and there is no significant difference in specialty, sex, birthplace and only child;
(3) the conflict of emotion expression of freshmen is negatively related to SWB.
