In order to understand dorm leaders motivation and expectations for appointment, their
satisfaction on the dorm-dorm relationship, and self-concept, this study used the self-compiled basic
information questionnaire for dorm leaders, self-reported evaluation on the satisfaction of dorm
relationship the general self-efficacy questionnaire, and the personal evaluation questionnaire as the
survey tools. Data of 641 first-year dorm leaders in Wenhua College were collected and analyzed, Results
indicated slightly low scores on the dorm relationship satisfaction evaluation for dorm leaders who
were only children than those who were not; General self-efficacy questionnaire scores and individual
evaluation questionnaire scores showed a birth of origin effect. Results further showed significant positive
correlation between dorm relationship satisfaction and general self-efficacy scores, and between dormroom
relationship satisfaction and personal evaluation scores.
