Interest is the intrinsic factor of students’ learning activities, and cultivating students’ interest
in learning is an important task of primary education. In order to study the research characteristics
and development status of primary school students’ learning interest, one of the research objects of
educational psychology in China, the literature analysis method was used to analyze the Chinese literature
of CNKI with primary school students’ learning interest as the theme and learning interest as the key
word. The results showed that domestic educational psychology was in the rapid development stage of
discipline on the whole, but the number of core journals was relatively small, and the number of core
research teams and core authors was slightly insufficient. The research content of primary school students’
interest in learning focuses on classroom learning in primary schools and the stimulation and cultivation
of learning interest in various subjects.
