In order to deeply understand the mental health status of higher vocational students, to provide
a certain reference basis for the scientific, standardized and institutionalized life education of higher
vocational students, and to provide a reference for better implementation of the prevention and early
warning of suicide behavior of higher vocational students. Using a simple random sampling method, P
school students were selected as the research objects, and the Baker Suicidal thoughts Survey Scale (SSI),
depression self-assessment scale (SDS), adolescent life event scale (ASLEC) and general data questionnaire
were used to analyze the influencing factors of suicidal thoughts, and conducted in-depth interviews with
some of the survey subjects to examine the mental health status of higher vocational students, providing
reference and reference for mental health education and life education of higher vocational students.
