Narrative therapy as a self-help psychological method can provide effective reference for the
innovation and development of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. And the
two have a high degree of internal fit, including goal orientation consistent, carrier use similar, effect to
achieve complementary three dimensions. The application of narrative therapy in ideological and political
education in colleges and universities has rich value implications, which provides a new ideological path
to solve the current educational problems in colleges and universities. This paper puts forward specific
practical requirements in terms of educators, educational objects and educational methods.
