The Relationship between Students' Psychological Capital and Academic Achievement in Civil Aviation Colleges: the Mediating Role of Learning Engagement
Objective: To explore the relationship between psychological capital and academic achievement
of civil aviation college students, and the mediating role of learning engagement. Methods: 1658 junior
students in civil aviation colleges were investigated by psychological capital scale, learning engagement
scale and academic achievement questionnaire. Results: there was a significant positive correlation
between College Students’ psychological capital and learning engagement and academic achievement;
Learning engagement plays a partial intermediary role between psychological capital and academic
achievement. Conclusion: psychological capital has a significant positive predictive effect on College
Students’ academic achievement at different levels. College Students’ psychological capital can affect their
academic achievement directly or indirectly through learning engagement. In education, we should pay
attention to cultivating college students’ psychological capital.
