Self-confidence is very important for the growth of every athlete. How to build self-confidence is related to the success of the competition. The author makes a psychological analysis of the success and failure cases of four state self-confidence of top Chinese male and female athletes: "too low self-confidence", "insufficient self-confidence", "appropriate self-confidence", "false self-confidence". The results show that the main factor affecting state self-confidence of top Chinese table tennis players is psychological stress, which leads to the athletes'psychological energy being too high.
