Xinjiang province is known as both the anti-terrorism frontline and main battlefield in China. Given the complicated backdrop of “three critical phases interwinded amid the hardtimes of peoples campaign against terrorism” , knowing about the sense of well-being of the frontline police is not only beneficial to their physical and mental health, but also helpful to further enhance police combat effectiveness, it provides human resources guarantee for the realization of long-term social stability in border areas as well. This research took the combined methods of questionnaire and individual interview to survey a total of 664 policemen from Xinjiang frontline police. The result shows that more than 60% of this group have a higher tendency of happiness sense, with the issue of gender, marital status, age, occupational years in police and working place being the factors that affect police wellbeing sense.
