A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the evaluation of the
psychological professional practical skills of the graduates majoring in Shaoguan
University. The results shown that: 1) the professional skills teaching evaluation was
medium level, which most of the students concerned about the psychological health
education and psychological counseling skills. 2) The self-evaluation score of the
professional skills mastered in school was low, of which most needed to be improve was
the skills of psychological statistical assessment. 3) Professional identity and teacher
guidance impact mostly on the training effect of psychological professional skills. 4)
Interesting was the most important factor affecting the learning of professional skills.
Practice and participation in professional workshops were conducive to the learning
of professional skills. To improve the learning efficiency of psychological professional
skills, it should be pay attention to the systematic design of practice hours, enrich
practice bases and improve the correlation between skills and employment.
