• Abstract: 本文通过对《追逐者》中年轻人对于爱药的寻求和效果的期望，以及老者对年轻人必定会回来买毒药的笃信的分析，发现该作品中的人物跟诗剧《浮士德》中的人物有相似之处，笔者认为前者中的人物也会落入后者作品中的人物的悲剧境地。
• By analyzing the young man’s search for love potion, his expectation of its effect and the old man’s certainty that the young man will surely come back to buy the poison, this paper finds that there are similarities between the characters in The Chaser and those in Faust, and argues that the characters in the former will fall into the same tragic situation as the characters in the latter work.
