• Abstract: 本文以在西方学界权威性极高的中国古典文学选集《诺顿中国文选》为研究对象，考察和分析了宇文所安在《诺顿中国文选》的编译过程中对中国古典文学作品的主题提炼，以期对中国文学在西方的有效译介提供可资借鉴的历史经验和现实参考。
• This paper researches on An Anthology of Chinese Literature, Beginning to 1911 compiled and translated by Stephen Owen which enjoys high reputation in Western academia, explores the thematic extraction by Stephen Owen in his compilation. This paper aims to expound the reference significance of Stephen Owen’s strategies to the effective translation and promotion of Chinese literature.
