• Abstract: 本文从概念隐喻的角度对英汉动物词语隐喻内涵进行综合性、多维度对比研究， 探索中英动物词语隐喻认知方式有何异同，并从自然地理、历史、宗教文学等方面分析其原因。这些动物隐喻意义有助于拓展读者视野，对不同地区的文化有深入认知，对不同地区的概念文化方面的研究进行深入研究交际认知。同时也能更熟练自如地理解以及使用目标文化下的动物隐喻，为跨文化交际奠定更好的基础。
• This paper makes a comprehensive and multi-dimensional contrastive study of the connotations of animal metaphors in English and Chinese from the perspective of conceptual metaphor, studies the similarities and differences in cognitive styles between Chinese and English animal metaphors, and analyzes the reasons from the aspects of natural geography, history, religion, literature and so on. The meaning of these animal metaphors is helpful to broaden readers horizons, to have a deep understanding of the cultures of different regions, and to use animal metaphors of the target culture more skillfully and freely to lay a better foundation for cross-cultural communication.
