• Abstract: 本文介绍了英汉思维对比、英汉语言对比。着重从“主体意识”“形合意合”两方面进行分析，指出翻译是一个跨文化交际的过程，在翻译的过程中涉及了不同的语言，不同的习俗和文化，同时也是两种不同思维之间的相互转化，结合当前对比语言学的发展现状，要加强在第三个层面即解释层面的研究力度，弥补这方面的不足。英汉具有很多独特的个性，加强英汉文字及其语言表征对比研究，有益于加强我们对母语和英语的理解。
• This paper introduces the contrastive thinking between English and Chinese and the contrastive language between English and Chinese. Emphatically from the “subject consciousness” and “Hypotactic vs Paratactic” two aspects to carry on the analysis, pointed out that translation is a cross-cultural communication process. The process of translation involves different languages, different customs and culture, as well as the mutual transformation between two different thinking. Combined with the current status of the development of contrastive linguistics, the research in the third level should be strengthened, making up the insufficient for that. There are many unique characteristics in English and Chinese. To strengthen the contrastive study of English and Chinese characters and their language representation is beneficial to our understanding of Chinese and English.
