• Abstract: 外宣材料是让世界各国了解中国发展方略和大政方针的重要途径。其中包含大量的汉语四字格在翻译时对译者提出了很高的要求。从目的论视角出发，运用直译法、意译法、直译加注法、省译法和释义法研究四字格的英译，从而为相关的英译宣传提供借鉴。
• Publicity materials are an important way for countries around the world to understand China’s development strategy and major policies. It contains a large number of Chinese four-character phrases, which put high demands on the translator when translating. From the perspective of skopos theory, we use literal translation, free translation, literal annotation, omission and paraphrase to study the English translation of four-character phrases, so as to provide reference for related English translation propaganda.
