Many college students download the mobile learning app for
English vocabulary learning. This kind of user experience needs to be further
studied. In this paper, 207 students of different majors were investigated with
questionnaires and experiments to explore the reasons for their using word
memorizing app, the learning effect and the problems in the process of using
mobile learning app to memorize English words. In order to guide students to
effectively use mobile learning app for English vocabulary learning, improve
students’ autonomous learning ability, enrich teachers’ teaching resources and
students’ learning resources, this paper puts forward feasible suggestions for the
development and optimization of English teaching auxiliary software, which
has important practical significance for promoting mobile English teaching and
learning.
