摘要：本文通过对北京市属高校的1782名非英语专业学生的问卷调查，对当前大学英语教学现存问题、学生后续课程开设需求以及教师队伍建设进行了探讨。研究发现，大学英语基础课程教学存在学生兴趣不高、教学效率低等问题，学生对于后续课程呼声较高。高校大学英语后续课程设置有待完善，教师队伍建设形势严峻，亟待政策的支持和教师自身努力。该研究旨在为大学英语教学改革提供建议和对策。
Based on the study of 1782 college students of non-English majors, this survey explores the present situation of the college English teaching, the construction of the college English follow-up course system, and optimization of the teaching staff. The research found that students do not have much interest in the present English course and there is an urgent need in follow-up courses. Meanwhile, the construction of the teaching staff should be put on the agenda. The research aims at providing suggestions for the reform of college English teaching.
