Since ancient times, China’s teacher education punishment has gone through the stage from corporal punishment to normative punishment and then to the present stage of not daring to punish. The changes of times have led to the essential changes in teacher punishment, including the diversification of punishment relations, the complexity of the subjective and objective nature of punishment, the two-way interaction of communication methods and the humanization of punishment models. In the information age, the teacher punishment management system urgently needs to be updated. Sorting out and analyzing the evolution of educational punishment is an effective way to update and improve the teacher punishment management system, ensuring that teacher education punishment in the information age becomes more standardized and orderly.
