In the context of new era, integrating local excellent traditional culture into primary school moral education curriculum has become particularly important. This study elaborates on the significance of local excellent traditional culture for cultural confidence and comprehensive development of primary school students. It also analyzes the current situation of integrating local excellent traditional culture into primary school moral education curriculum, including theularity of textbook content, the lack of diversity and interactivity in educational methods, and the insufficiency of teachers’ qualities. In response to these issues, article proposes paths and strategies for integrating local excellent traditional culture into primary school moral education curriculum, including enriching textbook content, innovating educational methods, and strengthening teacher. Through the implementation of these paths and strategies, it can promote the effective integration of local excellent traditional culture into primary school moral education curriculum, thereby cultivating the cultural of primary school students and promoting their comprehensive development.
