Loyalty education is an important aspect of public security education in the new era and a core requirement for building a high-quality police force. As an essential part of the curriculum in police colleges, the police sports course has unique advantages in cultivating students’ physical fitness, skills, and psychological qualities, providing a practical foundation for ideological and political education (ideological education) in the curriculum. This paper begins with the core connotation of loyalty education and combines the theoretical framework of curriculum ideological education. It systematically analyzes the political, educational, professional, and social values of integrating loyalty education into the ideological and political construction of police sports courses. The study also explores practical paths centered on modular curriculum design, situational teaching implementation, a multi-dimensional evaluation system, and campus culture construction. Through a case study of a police academy, the paper verifies the practical effect of integrating loyalty education into police sports courses, providing a theoretical basis and practical model for the reform of public security education curriculum in the new era. The research shows that the deep integration of loyalty education and police sports courses can not only enhance students’ sense of professional mission and loyalty awareness, but also achieve an organic unity of knowledge transfer and value guidance, laying a solid foundation for building a loyal and reliable police force.
