Enhancing the influence of daily ideological and political education activities in vocational colleges on students is an important link in carrying out high-quality ideological and political education. This study collected perception and attitude data of vocational college students towards daily ideological and political education activities from multiple different dimensions, and explored in depth the current situation and improvement path of daily ideological and political education work in vocational colleges. The results indicate that the influence of daily ideological and political education activities organized by vocational colleges on students is still insufficient, the innovation of activities is insufficient, and the participation of a single student group is the core element affecting the influence of ideological and political education. Therefore, we should design educational activities according to the characteristics of high vocational education practice, and give full play to students’ subjectivity. In view of the diversified needs of higher vocational students, innovative activity forms should be developed to improve the integration with majors. According to the development trend of higher vocational education, the ability of education team should be improved, and the onestop community work mode should be explored to promote the influence of daily ideological and political education activities in higher vocational colleges.
