近代英语教材《英语模范读本》文化呈现研究

• Abstract: 英语教材文化呈现研究涵盖了文化呈现的内容及其呈现方式。本研究采用张虹和李晓楠于2022年提出的外语教材文化呈现分析框架，对《英语模范读本》中的文化呈现内容进行分析。研究发现：在文化地域方面，近代英语教材偏重目标语国家文化的融入，对中国传统文化未给予足够重视；在文化类型上侧重文化观念、文化实践、文化产品和文化人物，而对文化社群的重视程度不足。
• The study of representation of culture in English textbook covers the content and forms of cultural representation. The present study adopts the Framework for Analyzing the Representation of Cultures in English Textbooks proposed by Zhang Hong and Li Xiaonan in 2022 to analyze the content of cultural representation in Model English Readers (MER). The study finds that: (1) In terms of categories of countries, MER pay more attention to the integration of target language culture and ignore learners’ mother tongue culture; (2) As for cultural categories, attention is focused on cultural perspectives, cultural practices, cultural products and cultural persons, while the emphasis on cultural communities is insufficient.
