This paper discusses the construction and application of the case base of Curriculum Ideology and Politics in Advanced Mathematics based on our examples. Following the construction principles of “integration, relevance and effectiveness”, and with the construction objectives of “integration, enhancement, cultivation and promotion”, the case base of Curriculum Ideology and Politics in Advanced Mathematics based on our examples is constructed in eight teaching sections. By adopting the five-step case teaching method of “introducing, exploring, constructing, evaluating and transforming”, the case base is used in and outside the classroom, aiming to enhance students’ awareness of ideology and their ability to connect theory with practice, strengthen their cultural confidence and improve the “Advance, Innovation and Challenge” of the course.
