In the process of social development today, the importance of education is increasingly prominent, especially in regions with relatively backward economies and distinct ethnic characteristics. This article focuses on secondary vocational education in the Yi ethnic areas of Liangshan, and explores in depth the key role it plays in supporting the rural revitalization strategy, as well as the severe challenges it faces on the road ahead. Targeted strategies are proposed to combine local characteristics and industrial development needs, strengthen industry education integration, promote school enterprise cooperation, improve education quality, and enhance employment orientation, injecting strong impetus into the local economic and social development, and providing solid talent support and technical support for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.
