The theoretical basis of integrating the red context into youth education mainly includes: Marxist cultural thought, Chinese traditional excellent cultural thought and the Communist Party of China’s party-building spirit and cultural thought. In the new era and new stage, the continuation of the red context should follow the principle of combining historicity with the Times, combining theory with practice, and combining universality with regionalism. Therefore, the path to explore youth red culture education involves three aspects: Insisting on discourse innovation and building a new era of red culture discourse system; Adhering to mechanism innovation and ensuring the long-term and stable development of red education; Adhering to method innovation and exploring a new way of education in the age of media integration.
