To Explore the Pragmatic Teaching Strategies of Chinese as a Foreign Language at the Primary Level —Taking Developing Chinese (2nd Edition) Elementary Comprehensive I as an Example
The goal of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is to cultivate students’ ability to use Chinese for communication, pragmatics is a crucial element in communication, and pragmatics is also one of the disciplines that cannot be ignored in linguistics. However, the research on pragmatic teaching in textbooks of Chinese as a foreign language at the primary level has not attracted enough attention in the academic circles for a long time. This paper takes Developing Chinese (2nd Edition) Elementary Comprehensive I as an example, points out some problems in the pragmatic teaching module, and tries to put forward some suggestions on pragmatic teaching at the primary stage from the aspects of textbook arrangement and teaching.
