This paper studies 43 articles on high school mathematics instructional design from the aspect of “instructional design practice”, and briefly analyse the current status of instructional design research. The paper will review the research on instructional design in practice from nine aspects, namely, the design of learning objectives, the selection of teaching contexts, the selection of teaching modes, the application of teaching media, the selection of teaching strategies, the design of teaching evaluation, the selection of learning materials, the realization of instructional design, and the integration of mathematical culture into instructional design, with the aim of helping educational researchers to understand the current situation of instructional design.
