Middle school students have an instinctive need for a sense of ceremony, and middle school class management requires a sense of ceremony. Fully utilizing various opportunities to hold class activities with a sense of ceremony is beneficial for enhancing students’ learning enthusiasm, aesthetic ability, class vitality, cohesion, and enhancing their sense of collective honor. It has important practical significance in class management. Based on nearly 20 years of experience as a homeroom teacher, the author proposes several practical approaches to effectively manage a class using a sense of ceremony, and interprets a typical case of how a sense of ceremony can cultivate students’ sense of collective honor.
