The research scope of this paper is limited to Chen He paper binding art of Xu Pu and art teaching in primary school. This paper probes into the inner connection between the educational value of Chen He paper binding art of Xu Pu and primary school art education from three aspects: aesthetic interest, historical culture and binding techniques. Through literature review and questionnaire survey, the authors studied the cognition of Chen He paper binding art of Xu Pu by primary school students and teachers, and their recognition and expectation of integrating it into primary school education and teaching. Based on the theory of related pedagogy, the authors have formulated the specific strategy of integrating Chen He paper binding art of Xu Pu into primary school art class.
