Research on the Design of Kindergarten Visual Identity System in Ethnic Areas Based on Intangible Cultural Heritage —Taking Hua Yao Picked Flower as an Example
In recent years, the support of national policy for the cultural heritage of intangible cultural heritage has been increasing, and the most effective way of heritage is to integrate it into daily life and realize its subtle influence. Xupu County, located in the northeast of Huaihua City, Hunan Province, is inhabited by 35 ethnic minorities, including Yao, and has distinctive ethnic cultures and customs, as well as rich ethnic resources, constituting a diversified cultural background. Taking Xupu County as a case study, this study investigates the visual identity of its kindergartens and finds that local kindergartens lack significant regional cultural characteristics in their visual identity design. In view of this, this study selects the local intangible cultural heritage with great ethnic characteristics - Hua Yao flower picking, and tries to integrate the ancient tree pattern in flower picking into the design of kindergarten visual identity system in ethnic areas through the use of visual language that is more in line with the aesthetic psychology of young children and a more modern art form, so as to enhance the regionality and cultural characteristics of the visual identity and cultural characteristics.
