Probe into the Cultivation of Teachers Educators’ Literacy —Taking the Doctor of Teacher Education Training Program of Columbia University as an Example
The key to improving the overall quality of teachers is to strengthen the quality of teachers’ education; The key to strengthening the quality of teacher education lies in improving the construction of teacher educators. The literacy cultivation of teacher educators is closely related to the ability of teacher educators, and it is also closely related to the national education level. It is also an important aspect of the development of teacher education, which should be placed in the focus of attention. Based on the analysis and discussion of the doctoral training program of teacher education in Columbia University, this paper summarizes the relevant characteristics of its teacher educator literacy training, returns to the position of teacher educator training and teacher education professional development in China, and puts forward some observations and thoughts.
