With the rapid development of information technology, the integration of the Internet and education has become a prominent trend. In the context of “Internet +,” rural kindergarten teachers are facing new challenges and opportunities in terms of information literacy. This paper aims to investigate the current status of information literacy among rural kindergarten teachers and propose effective strategies to enhance their information literacy. Through a comprehensive analysis of relevant literature and empirical research, this study explores the weak points in the information literacy of rural kindergarten teachers, including limited awareness, insufficient knowledge, and inadequate skills in utilizing information technologies. Additionally, this paper presents a set of strategies to improve their information literacy, including enhancing professional training, promoting collaborative learning, establishing supportive networks, and integrating technology into teaching practices. By addressing these issues and implementing the proposed strategies, rural kindergarten teachers can enhance their information literacy and effectively utilize the resources provided by the “Internet +” era, thereby promoting the overall development of rural preschool education.
