Through the analysis of the current situation of economic and social development in Liaoning Province and the demand for English talents, the article intends to explore the approaches to undergraduate teaching reform and practice of English majors and the construction of teaching quality assurance system, which is guided by the demand of the industry and focuses on teaching quality, so as to meet the needs of regional economic and social development, better cultivate applied and all-round foreign language talents, and make contributions to the economic and social development of Liaoning Province and the revitalization of the old industrial base in Northeast China.
