The Guiding Outline of Ideological and Political Construction of Higher Education Curriculum clearly points out that education guides students to deeply understand the ideological essence and era value of Chinese excellent traditional culture, inherits Chinese culture, and is full of Chinese heart and flavor. Dragon is the concentration of the Chinese national spirit and culture. Therefore, exploring the educational elements of dragon dance in colleges and universities and their interrelationships is an effective way to promote the ideological and political construction of physical education courses. Through in-depth interviews with 18 college dragon dance teachers, this research adopts grounded theoretical research methods, through open coding, spindle coding and selective coding, to build a college dragon dance teaching design model in the ideological and political perspective of the curriculum. The results show that the structural system of dragon dance teaching design in colleges and universities under the ideological and political vision of the curriculum takes casting the spirit of sports as the core category, and includes 7 main categories and 23 sub categories of demand analysis, dragon dance teaching, dragon dance competition, association management, sports training, activity development and evaluation feedback. This structure comprehensively describes the interaction of dragon dance teaching design in colleges and universities from the perspective of ideological and political curriculum in a complete system.
