Responsibility and Opportunity of Foreign Language Courses in Chinese Universities —Case Studies of Peking University and Beijing Foreign Studies University
In order to adapt to the strategies of “Cultural Power” and “One Belt and One Road”, Chinese universities have the responsibility to cultivate foreign language talents that meet the demand of national strategic policies. The paper takes Peking University and Beijing Foreign Studies University as the case studies to explore the responsibility of curriculum reform of foreign language majors in universities, as well as the opportunity based on the context of “New Liberal Arts”.
