Research on the Change and Development of the Number of Teachers and Students in Ordinary Middle Schools in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture (1950-2020)
The changes in the number of students, full-time teachers, schools and population are related to the scale and quality of education and the future of the country. Collect the relevant data of ordinary middle schools in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture in Wulingshan area from 1950 to 2020, draw a broken line chart, analyze and study these data and charts, and find that: since the founding of the people’s Republic of China, the growth of the number of students, full-time teachers and population of ordinary middle schools in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture in Wulingshan area has shown a strong upward trend; However, the overall trend of the change in the number of schools is a sharp decline. The causes and consequences of these data changes are analyzed, and relevant suggestions are put forward.
