Curriculum ideology and politics is an important way to build morality and cultivate people, which is highly concerned by all parties. However, science and engineering courses have become the short board and difficulty of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities because of their obvious characteristics of abstractness, logicality and deduction. This paper first analyzes the
background, connotation and guiding ideology of the course ideological and political, and then takes
Unity of Knowledge and Practice, active learning and self-growth as the training objectives of students,
combined with the thinking and measures of daily teaching, taking the ideological and political course
of Digital Photogrammetry, the core course of Remote Sensing Science and Technology major in Shandong Agricultural University as an example. This paper explores the top-level design of curriculum
ideology and politics, the mining and integration of ideological and political elements, and the evaluation
mechanism of teaching effect. Through the practice of ideological and political teaching in Digital Photogrammetry course in recent years, good results have been achieved.
