Based on the author’s investigation and research on foreign language teaching in the university
where it is located, this paper discovers the problems in the evaluation system, and proposes the
evaluation principles and main links of the “star class”. Try to solve the problems of unobvious professional
representativeness of teachers, lack of outstanding professional ability, carelessness in classroom teaching,
unfamiliar use of teaching aids, and insufficient labor contribution. It is intended to change the image of
foreign language teachers in colleges and universities, improve the effectiveness of daily foreign language
classrooms, and improve the overall quality of foreign language teaching. The author has conducted 2
years of research and analysis across 5 majors through reference to literature, field surveys, questionnaires, unannounced interviews, etc. and believes that the current evaluation and investigation methods are limited, neglect of daily teaching links, lack of teacher supervision, and classroom management Broad and unruly judgments, and highlight the “five principles, six links” solution for assessing high-quality foreign language classrooms.
