This study mainly introduces the development of the concept of stratified teaching at home and abroad, and analyzes its problems in teaching practice. The development of stratified teaching has a tendency of breaking bamboo and its forms are becoming more and more diversified, but there are some problems in the process of its implementation, such as the decrease of students' self-confidence due to the lack of reasonable stratification standards. We suggest that the stratification standard should be optimized and dynamically adjusted according to students' feedback. Teachers should be stricter with their own teaching, flexible use of hierarchical teaching.
