As an important part of reading teaching, problem design is an important link between teachers
and students, and between students and students around the text dialogue and communication, which
directly affects the success of reading teaching. However, in the actual reading teaching, the teacher’s
question design is not satisfactory, there are some problems such as the problem design is not targeted,
enlightening and so on. Dou Guimei is an outstanding teacher who has been active in primary school
Chinese teaching. Many of her educational thoughts and practical experience have far-reaching influence
on Chinese teaching. This paper analyzes and probes into Dou Guimei’s design of reflective questions in
reading teaching. It is found that the questions designed by Dou Guimei in reading teaching are not only
reflective and enlighting, but also have the characteristics of diversified levels, appropriate numbers and
asking questions for all students. It is hoped that this article can provide thinking and reference for the
majority of primary school Chinese teachers.
