“Mini-course” is an important form of Informational Education at present.
In the process of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL), Chinese
teachers have been working hard to explore how to improve the teaching quality. On
one hand, mini-course has characteristics such as terseness and forcefulness, roles
conversion, semi-structuredness, and so on. The author tries to answer the question
how would the mini-class integrate with TCSOL. On the other hand, it is necessary
to analyse how mini-class bring great challenges and influences to Chinese teachers.
Since both Informational Education and TCSOL are booming rapidly, whether they
can be integrated, how to integrate them, and how to improve them after integration
are important topics worthy of investigation and discussion by educators.
