Reflections on the Construction of Professional Basic Courses in Public Security Universities -Taking the Criminal Psychology Course System in Xinjiang Police College as an Example
The education reform and development of Public Security universities
should be implemented at the level of curriculum construction. Taking the
construction of Criminal Psychology course system of Xinjiang Police College as an
example, and based on Xinjiang regional characteristics and the application of actual
police combat, this paper discusses an issue about how to integrate the concept of
“connotative education” which focuses on “teaching students in accordance of their
aptitude” “unity of knowledge and practice” and “cultivating innovative spirit and
practical ability” into the construction of professional basic courses from researching,
teaching and training.
