• 摘要： 翻译研究的社会学转向促进了自身的理论化进程，将独立的翻译活动重构为受社会环境影响的实践活动。为此，《翻译与实践理论》一书从实践理论出发，采用跨学科视角突破了仅重视翻译产品和过程的限制，将翻译实践置于具体的社会环境中，阐释了翻译作为一种社会实践的构成要素和性质，提出了当前译者和口译员面临的机遇和挑战，为深入研究翻译实践奠定了基础。
• Theorizing translation studies have gained impetus from the sociology turn by reconstructing individual translation activities into practices under the influence of social conditions. Accordingly, on the ground of practice theory, Translation and Practice Theory adopts interdisciplinary perspectives to break through the limitations of the previous literatures that focus on product and process. Moreover, it illustrates both elements and property of translation practice in concrete social conditions. In what follows, it presents chances and challenges that translators and interpreters are facing. Notedly, the book will pave the way for the further study of translation practice.
