The year 2020 marks the 102nd birthday of Master Xuanhua Hua. Master Xuanhua was a pioneer in spreading Chinese culture and one of the messengers who spread learning from the east to the west. He founded the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas in San Francisco and became one of the pioneers in bringing Buddhism to the Western world. Master Xuanhua has made great contributions to the promotion and development of Buddhism on the West Coast of the United States, and is also an important founder of the Triratna in the United States. The purpose of this paper is to study the value release and semantic change of Xuanhua Master's translation in the process of teaching and translating the Sutra. The translation of Master Xuan Hua's lectures is not only a vivid example of the spread of Chinese civilization in the Western world, but also an indispensable great measure to build a community of human destiny.
