翻译暴力视角下《影》中的文化负载词字幕翻译策略

• 摘要： 由于受到字幕翻译原则限制及翻译本身面临的困境，字幕翻译对译者的要求极高，因此翻译难度较大。目前，国内相关研究已取得一定的成果，但对字幕翻译中的文化负载词翻译研究较少。本文以大陆电影《影》为例，在韦努蒂提出的“翻译暴力”理论指导下，对中文电影字幕的文化负载词英译进行了初步探究，从无暴力、柔性暴力和强制暴力三个角度出发分析翻译中的暴力行为，探索字幕翻译中存在的“暴力性”，旨在为相关翻译提供一定的借鉴。
• Subtitle translation will be confronted with difficulties through the whole process of translation due to technologies, time and space, and the translation of culture-loaded words will be beset with more hardships. However, the research pertaining to the issue is not abundant. This paper has explored translation strategies and skills applied in culture-loaded words of Chinese-language film subtitles from the perspective of “translation violence” proposed by Lawrence Venuti. This paper has set the movie The Shadow as an example to explore “violence” in subtitle translation from the perspective of three types of “violence” and hopes to provide necessary guidance to relevant translation.
