中国特色词汇英译研究——以脱贫攻坚中国经验外译为视角

• 摘要： 中国特色词汇是中国政治经济与文化在语言文字方面的重要表现，其英译研究对讲好中国故事、传播中国发展理念具有重要意义。中国已实现了农村整体消除贫困，书写了人类反贫困史的新篇章。中国脱贫经验和减贫方案的外译，有助于世界上其他贫困国家和地区学习中国智慧、参考中国方案，早日攻克贫困难关。本文以脱贫攻坚中国经验外译为视角，以《河北省蔚县脱贫攻坚调研报告》英译实践为例，对数字缩略语、平行结构的并列词、隐喻表达和范畴词等四类中国特色词汇进行分析，并以转换法、直译、增 译、释义、省译等翻译方法解决翻译过程中的问题，以期为今后中国特色词汇翻译实践提供借鉴。
• Vocabulary with Chinese characteristics is the linguistic manifestation of Chinese politics, economy and culture. The research on English translation of vocabulary with Chinese characteristics is of great significance for telling Chinese stories and introducing Chinese concepts of development to the outside world. China has eradicated poverty in rural areas and heralded a new era in the fight against poverty for the mankind. Based on the translation practice, we analyze four types of vocabularies with Chinese characteristics from the perspective of translating Chinese experience in poverty alleviation, including numerical abbreviations, parallel-structured phrases, metaphorical expressions and category words. Translation methods such as conversion, literal translation, amplification, paraphrase, and emission are employed to tackle the problems encountered in translation process. This paper is purposed to provide reference for the translation practice of vocabulary with Chinese characteristics in the future.
