克里斯蒂安·诺德(Christian Nord),当前德国翻译功能学派的领军人物。1967 年始,诺德教授先后
在海德堡大学、维也纳大学等多所大学进行翻译教学和研究,发表 80 多篇论文,主要涉及翻译中的语篇分析、译者培养和翻译的功能分类等方面。2018 年 10 月 18 日至 20 日,诺德教授应邀出席在武汉理工大学举办的第十三届中西部地区翻译理论与教学研讨会暨翻译研究国际论坛,并发表题为“Function Markets in Text and Translation”的主题演讲。演讲结束后,笔者对诺德教授进行了采访,内容包括:对翻译的理解,目的论的发展,翻译与“文化走出去”,个人经历和家庭生活对翻译工作的影响。访谈以英语进行,本文是译稿,以期对我国的翻译教学研究有所启发。
Christian Nord, one of the co-funders of the German functional translation school, has been teaching
and researching in the field of translation at Heidelberg University and the University of Vienna since 1967.
She has published more than 80 papers, focusing on areas such as discourse analysis, translator education and
functional typology of translation. From 18 to 20 October 2018, at the invitation of the sponsor, Professor Nord
attended the 13th Midwest Translation Theory and Teaching Seminar and International Forum on Translation
Studies held at Wuhan University of Technology, where she delivered a keynote speech titled “Function Markets
in Text and Translation”. After the lecture, Prof. Nord was interviewed to share views on the following topics:
her understanding on translation, the development of skopos theory, overseas promotion of Chinese literature,
and the influence of family and personal experience on her translation studies. The interview was conducted in
English and this is a translation of the text, with a view to enlightening the study of translation teaching in China.
