Jingshang Jing, a famous Japanese literary giant, has won numerous awards. With his unique cultural thinking mode, he created a series of Chinese historical novels. His novels plays a pioneering role in literary subjects innovation and demonstrates Jingshang’s unnique understanding and respect for an exotic culture. This paper intends to interpret
the typical characters and events in Jingshang’s Chinese-themed novels from the perspective of cultural culpability in
anthropology, aims to strengthen the understanding of these novels and explores Jingshang’s cultural views on Chinese-
themed novels from comprehensive perspectives and multiple angles.
