The course Ideological and political education puts forward new
requirements for higher mathematics teaching. In teaching practice, it is
necessary to constantly explore and optimize teaching methods in combination
with the requirements of ideological and political education. Taking the content
of “law of large numbers” as an example, this paper sets up teaching objectives
based on the ideological and political requirements of the course. In teaching, it
pays attention to the introduction, explanation of knowledge points, classroom
summary and extension after class. To carry out the ideological and political
education in teaching, curriculum ideological and political education has been
implemented by means of invisible infiltration, concentrating on the main
points and adding the finishing touch.
